Concept
Psychological consultants are people who assist those seeking help in solving various psychological problems, hold a practicing certificate issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and are one of the occupations of health managers, mainly solving people's mental health problems.
Job responsibilities
The work of professional psychological counselors mainly includes the following content: Obtaining information on the psychological problems and psychological barriers of visitors and their families from various sources; Comprehensively evaluating the psychological growth, personality development, intelligence, socialization, and family and marital life events of visitors; Summarizing psychological and physiological examinations; When discovering that visitors have mental disorders or physical diseases during psychological consultation, they should promptly request consultation or refer to other specialties.
Psychological Crisis Intervention
Psychological counseling taken when a person experiences severe mental trauma and shock, such as the loss of ideals, goals, and careers, the unexpected death of relatives, and the deterioration of interpersonal relationships, leading to a rapid mental collapse.
Life Issues Consultation
Various psychological health issues, including love, marriage, family and sexual issues, choices in further education and employment, maladaptation, learning difficulties, children's behavioral problems, interpersonal relationship issues, and alcohol and drug dependence
Psychosomatic consultation

Application Requirements
Psychological Consultant Level 3 (meet one of the following conditions)
Possessing a bachelor's degree or above in psychology, education, or medicine.
Possessing a college degree in psychology, education, and medicine, I have undergone regular training in level 3 psychological consultation for the prescribed number of standard hours and obtained a certificate of completion.
With a bachelor's degree or above in other majors, undergoing regular training in level three psychological consultant for the prescribed number of standard hours and obtaining a certificate of completion.
Psychological Consultant Level 2 (meet one of the following conditions)
Possessing a doctorate degree in psychology, education, and medicine
Possessing a master's degree in psychology, education, and medicine, I have undergone regular training in level 2 psychological consultation for the prescribed number of standard hours and obtained a certificate of completion.
Obtain the Level 3 Occupational Qualification Certificate for Psychological Counselors, work continuously as a psychological counselor for 3 years, complete the regular training for Level 2 psychological counselors for the prescribed number of standard hours, and obtain the certificate of completion.
Possessing intermediate or above professional and technical qualifications in psychology, education, or medicine, having received regular training in level 2 psychological counselor training for the prescribed number of standard hours and obtaining a certificate of completion, and having continuously engaged in psychological counseling work for 3 years.
Psychological Counselor Level 1 (meet one of the following conditions)
With a doctoral degree in psychology, education, or medicine, or a senior professional and technical position qualification, after receiving regular training in level-one psychological counselor for the prescribed number of hours and obtaining a certificate of completion, and having continuously engaged in Psychological counseling work for 3 years
With a master's degree, obtaining the Level 2 Certificate of Psychological Counselor, continuous psychological counseling work for 3 years, regular training for Level 1 psychological counselor for the specified number of standard hours, and obtaining a certificate of completion.
Professional Ethics Code
Psychological counselors shall not discriminate against seekers of help due to their gender, age, occupation, nationality, ethnicity, beliefs, values, or any other factors.
The psychological counselor must inform the client about the nature and characteristics of psychological work, its possible limitations, and the client's own rights and obligations before the establishment of the consultation relationship.
When a psychological counselor is working with a client, they should discuss and reach a consensus on the focus of the work, and if necessary, reach a written agreement.
Psychological counselors shall not establish other relationships with the seekers of help other than consultation, and shall try to avoid dual relationships. They shall not use the trust of the seekers of help to seek personal gain, especially not to have inappropriate words or actions towards the opposite sex.
When a psychological counselor believes that they are not suitable for consulting with a particular client, they should make a clear explanation to the client, and in the spirit of responsibility towards the client, introduce them to another suitable psychological counselor or physician.
Psychological counselors must always strictly adhere to the principle of confidentiality.
